This is so true. Everytime I read any verse in the Bible, it always give me a new Outlook. This clearly proves that the words are indeed alive and active.😀

A lot of Christians put all their Bible reading effort into reading the New Testament (For the first decade+ I read the New Testament twice as many times as the Old), but by doing this they miss so much. The New Testament is built upon the foundation of the Old Testament and you can't fully understand the New Testament without knowing the Old Testament. It is one story from one author and it is nonsensical to start 2/3rds of the way through.

Do you really think Genesis 1:26 is talking about the Trinity? What about Psalm 82? What about Job 1 and 2 Divine Councils as well? Is it possible that the Sons of God were created before man? Is it possible that YAH was talking to the Sons of God and not the Trinity? We are indoctrinated with Trinitarian thinking and we automatically see Trinity in everything. Scripture indicates the presence of created heavenly bodies, and Genesis 1:26 indicates their pre-existence to man.

Yes, I very much believe Genesis 1:26 is God speaking from His 3 in 1 nature. You do need to differentiate between when the Bible talks about sons of God, which usually refers to angels or heavenly beings and the Son of God, who is part of the Trinity. I do see the Trinity everywhere in Scripture because the writing is very obvious to me.

I read the Bible many times before I started reading writings by people, so most of my beliefs actually came from my Bible reading and not from the beliefs of others. I would then find the people who supported my understanding of the Bible when others accused me of following the teachings of a particular person or group.

I'm curious, if you don't believe in the Trinity, who do you think Jesus is?
